This project conversion of an existing Cath Lab into an Interventional Radiology Suite. This is first and foremost an equipment replacement project, with minimal ancillary and infrastructure improvements to facilitate that goal. Design has been submitted to HCAI as two separate projects and will be built out with two sets of HCAI drawings; Demolition & Build-Out. The incremental permitting and construction will allow the project to start demo early as possible, allowing GC and Design team to get in and confirm “unforeseen” conditions and address with HCAI prior to final build out starts. The approach is expected to provide planned downtime to procure long lead items & fabrications, allowing for expedited construction due to mitigation of unknown conditions.

We support Rady Children’s Hospital mission “to restore, sustain and enhance the health and developmental potential of children through excellence in care, education, research and advocacy.”
